Two transmitter units are on the left and one receiver unit on the right
KEEP CLOSE DESIGN PROJECT: A SOLUTION TO FORGETFULNESS
The final prototype consists of three units: a receiver unit and two transmitter units. The user carries the receiver unit with them (on a backpack, clothing, etc.) and the transmitter units attach to the desired item such as a phone, or keys. The transmitter units are each equipped with a 433Mhz Rf transmitter, an Arduino Nano, two 3-volt watch batteries, and a 3-D printed case. Each transmitter unit sends a continuous signal to the receiver unit, which is equipped with a 433Mhz Rf receiver, an Arduino Uno, a 9-volt battery, and a 3-D printed case (case not pictured). The receiver unit checks for signals from the transmitter units, and if both units are in range, the receiver unit glows green and blue (each transmitter is coded for a specific color). If one transmitter unit is out of range, the receiver unit glows only the color of the other transmitter unit and if both transmitter units are out of range, the receiver unit glows red.
